Website Design & Development
A respected and well-known name within the construction industry, Hale Built has been providing specialty construction services since 1946. The company provides house raising services, and now foundation repair.
With the foundation repair services positioned as a company under the Hale brand, the goal was to carry forward the brand and elements of the other company site into this site developed for foundation repair services, while developing a unique look and feel, and a brand message that conveys the differentiator and value proposition of this new business. This was accomplished through colors, elements of the message, writing, and design elements carried over, ensuring there was a connection between the two websites and the brand, delivering continuity and brand equity.
The project included the design and development of the company image and website, the business message and writing, the site architecture, and most importantly, development of the differentiators and the value proposition.
With differentiators and value proposition developed, the website was structured to showcase these essential elements through the development of business messaging, writing, and content.
A writing and content structure was developed to deliver these essential elements as the viewer browsed through the site, ensuring benefits of services, differentiators, and brand value were consistently emphasized and added-to as the viewer navigated deeper into the site.

In addition to content from the house raising website incorporated into this site to add elements of value to the business, new content was developed to convey how the knowledge, skills, approach and expertise from the house raising services are incorporated into the approach of, and strengthen the foundation repair services, providing even deeper value to the business, strengthening the proposition and differentiators.
Project Approach
Because the site was representing both a new business and a business under the Hale brand, the site needed to be both unique and a part of the whole.
With orange as an element of the Hale brand, the color served as a major design element and helped set the tone. The design of the site while unique, shared elements of the house raising site without it being a duplicate site. This was accomplished through the grid approach in the design, using both existing layout components and new components, with certain areas of the layout extending the look.
Summary & Notes
Because the site was representing both a new business and a business under the Hale brand, the message, look, feel, and elements of the brand like needed to be incorporated. The site served as an opportunity to both strengthen and extend the Hale brand, and exceeded the challenges faced.
