Development of the Reach Beyond brand identity. The Reach organization provides services, programs, activities and support for children of all ages, regardless of financial status. Using elements of the existing identity to avoid a disconnect and incorporate brand equity, Adam Garlinger Illustration + Design redeveloped the brand identity and developed a complete brand identity system with messaging, and the architecture, to create a visual language. Project Overview
Because the existing logo had built up equity, it was important to incorporate the equity into the new mark. The existing colors and visual elements were incorporated into the new mark, to continue to build on the established equity. The new mark uses a lighter and softer tyepace, and incorporates the graphics of the hands into the new mark.

The project included the development of the primary logo using brand equity, a brand identity and visual language, the architecture of the identity and a strategy to enable the identity to adapt and evolve.

Previous Logo and New Logo
The new logo mark incorporates the palette and graphic element, to continue to build on the equity. The new mark is able to incorporate both Organizaion names into one primary logo mark.

Application of Identity

The hands visual was applied to the newly developed branded aspirational statement of: “Where Beyond Reach is Reach Beyond”.

Project Summary
The redeveloped identity, and the new identity system, incorporated existing elements, including the graphic and color palette, to avoid a disconnect and continue to build equity. The new logo mark uses the hands graphic which was a staple in the existing mark, and something that needed to be included. The new mark is able to adapt and evolve through additional elements that will alternate usage with the hands, applied to additional programs, services, events, etc., giving the Organization needed fexibility and options, while continuing to build brand equity.
